Blighty Film is a specialist historical and military consultancy for all creative media including film, television, and print, with a particular focus on early 20th Century Britain.
We pride ourselves on expertly reconstructing images of the past, utilising decades of research, an acute eye for specialist detail, along with an extensive reference library and collection of original clothing, equipment, and vehicles.
With expert knowledge of the British military during the world wars and of civilian fashions, styles, and culture, we work rigorously to achieve historical authenticity in all we do.
Our services include research and reference, on-set consultancy work, and supplying our own specialist supporting artists complete with thoroughly researched and authentic costuming. Blighty Film also operates several historical vehicles, maintained in complete working order and available for hire.

Historical/Military Consultancy
With decades of experience, knowledge, and research, Blighty Film offers a truly expert consultancy service that understands the nuances and idiosyncrasies of the past. From advising on the specific authentic details of military uniform, to understanding the ways ordinary people spoke and interacted in the past, Blighty Film can help to make your production as historically accurate as possible.
Specialist Supporting Artists
We offer a unique service through our specialist supporting artists, provided fully costumed and styled. Moreover, each artist has a thorough understanding of the period and the role they are representing, differentiating them from ordinary supporting artists or reenactors. This means that our SAs achieve the highest possible levels of authenticity.
Costumes and Props
We provide meticulously researched costumes and props to suit your production's needs. Drawing on our existing wardrobe, Blighty Film can provide a full costumier and props service, along with a specific consultancy and research service for costume designers and makers.
Vehicle Hire
Blighty Film owns and operates a series of historic vehicles which are available to hire for your production. Each vehicle has been carefully restored to the highest standards and are maintained in full running condition.
